A tired office, a second life.

Scout started as a dream, one that finally felt real the day we stumbled on the building at 2316 Baynard Blvd. It wasn’t much to look at then: a tired, overgrown office space that most people probably walked right past.

Convincing the previous owner took some time (and a lot of coffee), but once they caught the vision, things started to move. From there, we worked closely with the city to bring new life into this historic building. It wasn’t quick or easy, but little by little, the place began to transform. About a year later, Scout Café opened its doors.
